Seminole Dominates Monahans, 42–13, Behind Explosive Offense

MONAHANS, TX — The Seminole Indians hit the road Friday night and delivered a statement win, overwhelming the Monahans Loboes 42–13 in a commanding performance that showcased balance, efficiency, and explosive playmaking on both sides of the ball.
Air Attack in Full Control
Quarterback Dominick Higgins set the tone early, carving through the Monahans secondary with pinpoint accuracy. Higgins completed 16 of 22 passes for 185 yards and three touchdowns, posting a sharp 143.2 passer rating

. His poise in the pocket and ability to extend plays kept the Lobo defense off balance all night.
Backup quarterback Jacob Gonzales was also efficient, connecting on 6 of 8 passes for 77 yards, giving Seminole a total of 262 passing yards on a 73.3% completion rate

Ground Game Keeps Rolling
The running game was equally impressive. Higgins led the way on the ground as well, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries — an explosive 13.4 yards per attempt

Landen Guerra added 34 yards and a score, while Caton Cramer chipped in 31 yards on four carries, helping Seminole rack up 198 rushing yards and three touchdowns at a clip of 7.9 yards per carry.
Receivers Spread the Wealth

Logan McCormick (4 receptions, 42 yards, 1 TD) and Cramer (2 receptions, 29 yards, 1 TD) also found the end zone, as eight different players contributed to the passing game.

Seminole’s defense made its presence felt from the opening series. The Indians consistently pressured the Monahans quarterback, limited chunk plays, and forced the Loboes into long third downs throughout the night. The Seminole Indians will go on the road to take on the Levelland Lobos in the first round of the Texas High School Playoffs.
