The Seminole Indians left no doubt on Thursday night, powering past the Levelland Lobos in a 77–38 Bi-District Playoff victory to improve to 8–3 on the season. In a game loaded with explosive plays, a relentless ground attack, and a swarming defense, Seminole owned every phase from the second quarter on, turning a tight early contest into a postseason statement.

A Firestorm of Offense
The Indians lit up the scoreboard with 77 points, piling up 504 total yards behind a punishing rushing attack that overwhelmed the Lobos.
Senior running back Caton Cramer delivered a legendary playoff performance, rushing for 170 yards and 5 touchdowns, setting the tone early and never slowing down. Freshman standout Landen Guerra added 138 rushing yards, 39 receiving yards, and 2 total touchdowns, showcasing the future of the program in a big way.
Quarterbacks Dominick Higgins and Jacob Gonzales combined for 137 passing yards and 2 touchdown strikes, keeping Levelland’s defense off balance throughout the night.
Seminole’s scoring came from everywhere—eight different players found the end zone, including a receiving touchdown from Jaycen Robledo, a physical goal-line score from Gavyn Knelsen, and a rushing touchdown from Higgins.
Second Quarter Surge Turns the Tide
After trailing 17–14 at the end of the first quarter, the Indians erupted for a 28-point second quarter, seizing control of the game and never giving it back. The offense continued its dominance into the third quarter, scoring 21 more points to fully break the game open.
Defense Tightens the Screws
While Levelland found success early, the Seminole defense locked in as the game wore on. The Indians shut out the Lobos in the third quarter and generated key stops that fueled the offensive onslaught.
Senior linebacker Ryan Werdenberg led the defensive charge with 14 tackles, while Abraham Castillo added 10 tackles and strong play in the trenches. Caton Cramer added a sack to his stellar offensive night, and the defense totaled 5 tackles for loss, applying consistent pressure throughout the second half.
Special Teams Shine
Special teams delivered one of the defining moments of the night. Senior Austin Olivas electrified the stadium by returning the second-half opening kickoff 76 yards for a touchdown, a back-breaking play that immediately extended Seminole’s lead and crushed any Levelland momentum.
The kicking game was perfect as well, with Seminole going 11-for-11 on PATs behind the steady efforts of Gabryl Alaniz and Ryan Werdenberg.
