Seminole Football Shines Bright with Seven Indians Named to TSWA All-State Team
Seminole, TX - February 14, 2024 - The Seminole High School football team is proud to announce that seven of its outstanding players have been recognized by the Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA) for their exceptional performances during the 2023 season. These young athletes have demonstrated remarkable skill, dedication, and sportsmanship, earning prestigious placements on the TSWA All-State Football Team.

Leading the pack is sophomore sensation Logan McCormick, who secured a well-deserved spot as the 3rd Team Wide Receiver. McCormick's electrifying plays and reliable hands have been a constant threat to opposing defenses, showcasing his remarkable talent and potential.

Joining McCormick in the limelight is fellow sophomore standout Caton Cramer, recognized as the 3rd Team All-Purpose player. Cramer's versatility on the field has been invaluable to the team's success, contributing in a wide array of ways with finesse and determination.

Senior defensive lineman Jaylen Cottrell has also earned recognition as a 3rd Team selection. Cottrell's relentless pursuit of the ball and formidable presence in the trenches have made him a force to be reckoned with, anchoring the defense with his skill and leadership.

Dynamic junior Braden Bailey has been honored as the 3rd Team Kick Returner, showcasing his exceptional speed and agility in flipping the field and providing crucial momentum shifts for the team.

Junior Wyatt Holmstrom has been recognized as an Honorable Mention Quarterback, demonstrating poise and proficiency in leading the offense with his arm and decision-making abilities.

Senior Brian Peters has earned Honorable Mention as a Guard, showcasing his strength, technique, and dedication in the trenches, paving the way for offensive success.

Rounding out the impressive list is junior Rowin Donaldson, recognized as an Honorable Mention Kicker, displaying precision and reliability in crucial special teams situations.
