Seminole Track and Field Standouts Qualify for State Track Meet
Seminole High School's track and field team is sending two outstanding athletes to the state meet after remarkable performances at the regional championships. Ava Olivas and Landry Reames showcased their prowess, securing coveted spots to compete at the state level.

Ava Olivas demonstrated her skill and determination in the Discus event, claiming second place at the regional meet with a stellar throw of 123 feet and 11 inches, marking a personal best for her. Her exceptional performance not only secured her a spot at the state championships but also positioned her as a formidable contender in the upcoming competition.

Joining Olivas in representing Seminole at the state meet is Landry Reames, who exhibited remarkable speed in the 110-meter hurdles event with a blistering 14.96. Reames secured second place in a fiercely competitive field, showcasing his prowess and earning his ticket to the state championships.

The state track meet, set to take place at the Mike A. Myers Track & Soccer Stadium in Austin, Texas, promises to be an electrifying event, featuring top athletes from across the state.
